SPEC-C1 is our entry into the two-piece composite game for USSSA baseball, the certification covering a number of youth leagues and travel ball tournaments. The SPEC-C1 features a high-performing, light-swinging composite barrel with a vibration-dampening connection joint and our trusty Clinch grip to give you a bat with supreme barrel control and elite power.
The first SPEC-C1 will be released as an ultra-limited collection of bats in our Sandstorm colorway — paying homage to the original SPEC-A1 BBCOR — on November 4. Inventory will be extremely limited, so we recommend signing up for VIP access here for the best chance at getting yours.
The best way to get a bat is to sign up at this link. Signing up means you'll be able to enter a virtual queue for these bats ahead of the general public on launch day. Signing up for VIP access does not guarantee you a bat, as our inventory will be limited. If we sell out of the bat you wanted before you have a chance to get it, you can find the Combat SPEC-C1 Sandstorm at JustBats and Dick's Sporting Goods the following day.
The SPEC-C1 will be available in a -10, -5, and a -6.5. The -6.5 model represents a new drop weight for us, designed to give players a middle ground with more mass than a -8, but a lighter-swinging feel than a -5.
On launch day, we'll be using a virtual waiting room feature to control traffic to the bats. At 9:30 a.m. Eastern, we'll send all VIPs a link to a waiting room. Once the bats go live at 10:00 a.m. Eastern, anyone in the waiting room will be randomly placed in a queue.
Non-VIP visitors will then be able to join the queue at the back of the line, behind everyone who signed up for VIP access. Product is based on availability and demand. Placement in the waiting room or queue does not reserve or hold inventory or guarantee product availability.
