This drop is a salute to the midnight grinders who put in the work when nobody's watching. Starring in the Midnight Rodeo takes grit, hustle, and the confidence to step up in big moments.
The Midnight Rodeo drop will start with a new release of SPEC-A1 BBCOR bats on Wednesday, August 6, on combatmfg.com. SPEC-A1 BBCOR bats will be available at JustBats and Dick's Sporting Goods the following day. New slowpitch bats and more Midnight Rodeo gear will drop in the weeks after.
15,000 SPEC-A1 BBCOR bats in three different designs (5,000 per design). Each of these bats will be individually numbered.
SPEC-A1 BBCOR bats will be available through the select retailers below. Check with individual retailers for availability.
On launch day, we'll be using a virtual waiting room feature to control traffic to the bats. At 9:30 a.m. Eastern, we'll send all VIPs a link to a waiting room. Once the bats go live at 10:00 a.m. Eastern, anyone in the waiting room will be randomly placed in a queue.
Non-VIP visitors will then be able to join the queue at the back of the line, behind everyone who signed up for VIP access.
If we sell out of bats on our website, you can find Midnight Rodeo bats on JustBats the next day, August 7th, at JustBats, or on the Dick's Sporting Goods app. . Other retailers will have bats available starting on the 8th.
Unfortunately, it's too common in the game for resellers to capitalize on limited-release products by buying them and re-selling them for higher prices. We want to see our products in the hands of players, not resellers.With the Midnight Rodeo drop, we're limiting purchases to two bats per customer. Our hope is that this limits reselling behavior. We're continually looking for new ways we can limit this kind of activity on future drops.
